First BTH Group Hunt-Columbus Ohio

[SoreKneesDayton]

First, a big thanks to Mike Haer for putting the BuckeyeTreasureHunter.com site together for Ohio MDers and setting up the meeting/hunt. Mike we are all indebted to you and hope the site and future club go on forever. Second, thank to Dave (Salty Dog) for setting up the great hunt in Wolfe Park.

Jeff and I enjoyed the hunt and the weather turned out to be perfect. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and the hunt yeilded some nice finds--mostly clad for me so no pictures.

Jeff and I hit a grade school on the way back to Dayton and cleaned up on clad. It was all rubber chunks around the playground equipment so the coins came up easy and like new--nickel and dime heaven.

Thanks again Mike and Salty. Really glad you put this site together Buckeye Treasure Hunter...Wooohooo!

PS We all wanted to jump BedPanMoneyMan when he found the great ring. Hope he posts it soon. Nice Going Bill. Dang---just---just ---leave some for us!

Hope more can come to the next all Ohio hunt.

Gold looking coin is 10 cent Euro piece from Germany I found at school swings area.

Total coin finds for me the three days last week (including BTH hunt) was about $20.85

Sun glasses and trinkets were from on way to, and from, BTH Hunt
