First civil war token ever!

Dug this 1863 cwt this AM. It says peace forever with two little hands shaking and George Washington on the other side. How can clean it up a bit better? Hot peroxide works really well on all my Indians?

Nice token. Most were privately struck and so planchet quality varied greatly. I would clean it carefully and start off with a cold peroxide soak for a day. Congrats

Very nice still looking for my first. Peroxide works good on Indians because they are bronze there is no telling what that is made of. I would proceed with caution.
