Skunked!

This was a brinks box. Most of the rolls however weren't tightly wrapped on both ends, like the ends had been untucked. I don't know if that is common or not.

That brings my running total to 0 for 2,400 coins checked, or about 2 1/2 boxes worth.

Unfortunately, that is somewhat common, at least for Brinks boxes in my area. I have found silver in some of those rolls that look like they've been gone through; that's just how Brinks does them sometimes.

I have seen this too. I think its a machine problem as I have found silver in loose rolls, and been skunked on entire boxes of tight rolls.

Join the club. My brinks box today was a skunk. Ends were press rolled.

Has brinks boxes ever brought in major silver?

I have 2 more on the way. Hope it gets better. This too was my first full box of halves.

Hang in there. I once found 17 40%ers in a box, but mostly skunks and reboxed dumps. I would stay away if you get on a skunk streak.

stay away from that bank you mean? I now have a box coming from 3 different banks, in 2 cities, so i hope from different sources. Today marks 1 week at the hunt, so it's about time to start making it count.
