I found this in the creek bed at ceres park near Glassboro, NJ. I actually wasn't sure if it was anything, but a friend was over and said " hey is that one of those clovis point things?!" That gave me the confidence to believe. So I know nothing about it. (nor have I done any research)

Rumbling around in the creek I expected it to have alot more wear.

Thats quartzite... And likely was a stemmed point or weak based point. Very toigh to work material, rarely thin, and if so, the item was likely made from a large flake then.
Get back there where you found it! Im sure there is more there!!! Awesome start!

Not a Clovis, broken tip of artifact....

Its better than finding nothing but rocks. At least you know what they were using to make their artifacts with. Quartzite tip

Congratulations:thumbsup:
