First finds with the son's new Ace 150
My son's new Garrett Ace 150 arrived on time and intact from Kellyco. Popped it together and hit the backyard before and after dinner. I had brought down a silver quarter, silver dime, IH and a copper lincoln cent that I was going to hide so he could have some targets to practice on.
Well, he didn't need them. We found a nickle down about five inches, a memorial cent at about three inches, a tiny copper rivet that was down deep and some other junk metal. And these were all items that my XLT must have missed. I won't say my backyard is "hunted out" but I will say I have pounded it. So, I must say I am pretty impressed with the new machine. It's so light too! It takes a little longer to find a target without the pinpointing capability but not too much longer.
