Started pouring rain after the penny so came home but I will be swinging that old school everyday on the way home till I cover all of it!! The steel and several of the wheat pennies were all found in extremely rural north Carolina in the very southwest corner. I always wonder why I can dig a very recent penny and have it be awful and then find an old one and have it be beautiful? Makes sense that it was just lost more recent !

Hey , I certainly had no intention of creating a debate where folks have to weigh in- either for the gold or for the flying eagle , I was
merely suggesting that for me, given the rarity of a flying eagle cent dug up in that condition , I would be jacked ! the gold is not
exactly chopped liver either !!! The day you had, would exceed my best single day of metal detecting ! Argentium.

Wonderful, beautiful finds! And hopefully those drunk nekkid people will be draped with jewelry and lose it all, lol. I visited Key West in 1957 -- pretty quiet then. HH Andi

the price of the gold coin is realy high and nowadys people always use the gold metal detector to help them find metal material goods, as it is really a good assistant and in this way they will be more comfortable when they do metal detecting.
