Went out this Morning for a long day, but it was well worth it. I want to thank Sandman for his tips on the Excal 1000. I could not have done this without his help. I think I will stick to shallow water till I get some more experience with this detector.

I should have went back this morning due to it started raining as I was leaving beach yesterday. I noticed everyone was grabbing up everything and running for cars. I should have stayed later after everyone left, but I had a long day already.

The July 4th celebration for this lake is this Sunday, July 1st. I think I will go to the beach late while others leave to other side of lake for better viewing of fireworks.

Great rings!! Hope there's a lot more of them out there for you! HH
