first hunt ever

Well it was not very productive but at least I know my Md works. I went to a small park and after an hour I was about to quit. All I had found was a buried fence line, aluminum siding and old dog choke caller. I tried one last spot and I found a 2007 nickle and a 2006 Pennie. Not much for an hour plus search but now I have got the itch.

I found some of the same stuff my first time in the back yard.
Went to theHigh School Baseball field and found some clad...... I felt better.....
Then Winter set in and i haven't been out since. :(

I did the same at my first totlot. My first real world exp. i came up with a merc dime and a couple wheaties.

look its taken me over a year now to get the hang of my detector just keep at it the finds will come good luck and welcome to TN

Thats all it takes. Your life has changed now. I am a new detector also. started last November. Only clad, no silver yet. Good luck and stay with it. :thumbsup:
