I've given this spot a rest since late summer and decided to spend a couple hours swinging this afternoon. I have found everything from tombac buttons to 1960's British coins. Today I found two more 1960's British coins, two buttons, and what I think is part of a shoe buckle frame.

Yeap, part of a 18th C shoe buckle.

Very nice finds, where abouts in Virginia do you hail?

Go back maybe you will find the other missing piece.
Well done

Just outside of Richmond.
