First hunt with AT PRO

I just received my new coil for my AT PRO. The one that came with my new machine was defective. It was giving false reading constantly. You could not even touch the coil with your finger. The guy I bought the detector from was excellent to work with. Thanks Rick from Kentville NS. Canada. I went to a local high school to try it out. This is what I found in 40 minutes. I did not have any false reading. I did find lots of old chip bags and other junk. I should have taken pictures before cleaning. I will learn. I had to fix the bracelet. The eye ring had come open and the clip came out but was still attached to the other end. It is stamped 925 on one side and says Italy on the other. Love my AT PRO now that it is working proper. I could not use the detector at the beach because of the false readings. I am eager to try again.

I haven't found a Silver chain of any kind for some time.

I'm glad your liking the ATP, after finally getting it proper. Sorry it wasn't so out of the box, and thanks for being understanding / reasonable while we got right.
