Santa was kind enough to bring me a new Equinox 800 for Christmas (I must have been especially good this year!), and today I took it on its first hunt at a park that I've pounded for years.
I'm still figuring it out, but despite the learning curve I managed to score a .925 silver charm, a super-toasty Draped Bust LC and a nice pile of clad.
The LC was especially surprising, since the park is only about 15 years old, and I found it about six inches down right on the sideline of a soccer field. It's pretty toasted, but when I hold it at the right angle I can see the outline of woman facing right on the front, and a faint wreath and "One Cent" on the back.
I've got a lot to learn about it, but I'm really impressed with this machine so far.
Thanks for looking - HH!
