Been kinda slim pickins as of late, pretty rough 1861 or 64' Indian Head has been about it since i got a new machine last week, found at one of my favorite shoreline spots on Sept 6. Even though its rough I'm really glad to have found one from the war years, makes it mean that much more to me. Thanks for looking and cheers!!!! 100_2529.JPG

Go to Google and see if 1861s were just fatties...I found a Flying Eagle last summer that threw me....they were fatties too (at least the one I found) and I thought it was an IH until I took a close look...the back is the same as an IH. Man was I happy to find that....first in 12 years of detecting!
