I got my first detector a couple of weeks ago and took to down to the beach with me last week and really didn't find anything other than a few pennies and a dime. Yesterday we had Thanksgiving at my Grandmothers (88 years old) and took my Treasure Pro with me. The old farm house where she grew up is still on the property and I looked around for about an hour before feasting on Turkey. Found this 1960's Kilgore Private Eye toy cap gun. My grandmother could only guess it had belonged to one my second cousin's. Pretty cool find.

Are there any fields with the farm house? If so, get on them.

love finding old toys. check around the old house where the main traffic took place getting out of the car and walking in to the house. People getting into their pockets to get car keys out and house keys. Plus old clothes line and the path to the out house.....

You may want to explore any old dumps on the property, before there was landfills folks would have metal and bottle dumps. Looks like your doing well.
