I am very excited to say that I found my first megladon tooth on a dive. I got wildly seasick and couldn't get off the boat fast enough. Down at 103' I came across a Meg tooth. Part of the root is broken, but the tooth itself is there. Planned for a second dive, but I was unable to pressurize my ear and had to call it a day.

Thats cool now you will be on the hunt for more

103'?!?! Is that a river, or off the coast? Either way, awesome tooth!

I went 40 miles off the coast of N. Carolina. There is a place known as Megladon Ledge. The water was very clear, easily 40' of visibility.

Awesome!! I'm always on the lookout when I am in Tybee and Savannah GA.

Congratulations on your major achievement

Nice one for sure. I would have freaked at 103".
