Hello T net searchers and finders! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I haven’t given up hunting I’ve just been busy at a new job that doesn’t really allow much time for marking posts or hanging out TNet.
This stuff is from a hunt that I had for about 30 minutes in Boston between work and getting my son from daycare. I spanned three centuries in that short amount of time. We’ve got a civ war era union cavalry cuff button. This cleaned up incredibly well with some dips in lemon juice and water with some light tooth pick action and soft tooth brushing. By far the nicest button I’ve ever dug. A 1907 V nickel... wasted but I do t find these too often. And part of an 18th century ornate shoe buckle frame! The button made my month and it was like a gift that kept giving again after I cleaned it. I was already stoked but the cleaned result far surpassed any expectations I had of it. Oh the back mark is Waterbury button co. Thanks for looking and I hope everyone is doing well!
