First Mercury Dime and mystery button?

First old silver. This is same site I found the 1917 one cent. This button thing says Ryan Light or Avon Light .Looked it up and all I found was hot rod head lamps

The lettering style looks like that use by the Avon cosmetics company between 1936-1947:

I would guess it has detached from the end of a lipstick tube, eye shadow pencil or something similar and that 'Light' is a marketing description for a cosmetic with a subtle appearance when applied, or that came in a pale colour.

Thanks for the ID, I've got some cosmetic tubes but none with any lettering
