First post and what is it?

This is my first post and excited to be a part of a great hobby! I have a few items that are recent finds and clueless to what they are so any ideas or help would be great. Here is the first of four objects and believe its of lead, thanks!

If it is lead it doesn't look like it has been in the ground long otherwise it would be having dark gray /white in patina. Looks like an old bottle cork to me. They can get pretty hard being in the ground and come out resembling a piece of chalk. But if it is metallic-lead then obviously not a cork.

Thanks for looking at it for me.... Its definitely some kind of metal? Pewter maybe?

It is obvious that one end is broken off. It looks cast, reminds me of the terminal end of a sparkplug but too large but still might be electrical related.
