First Post Ever with Pictures

A little history. My first post was in 2007 without pictures. I said at the time I would learn how to do photos in two weeks when my daughter would show me how to add photos to my posts. Two years have past and my daughter is now showing me how to post photos. The original post was a 1943 Walking Liberty Half. I had been detecting for 4 months at the time.

This post is for recent hunts. 12-27-09 and today 1-1-10. My photo taking abilities are as bad as my ability to post photos.
I am sure you will get the gist of what I have found. The first one is a 24" necklass with roster pendant. The chain is marked 14K Italy and the Pendant is marked R14kP. Todays find is an 8" Bracelet marked .925 or .825 not sure which. These two items were found within in a radius of 20'.

As you can guess I am properly hooked on this hobby.

And this will be your first ever banner find.
If you want to take good pictures you have to use good light the best is the sun. Take your pix with the sun to your back so the light bathes your prey. Then make sure your subject has proper contrast don't photograph a person with black hair with a black background. Same with gold you will want to have something that is not gold I would perfer black any dark color other than yellow.
If you can't do the outdoor pix take your things into the bathroom the one with a vanity where there is plenty light the mirrors will help with the light.
I voted a banner find hope you get it they might perfer you to submit a better pix. Please try to get a weight of your items if you don't have a scale take it to the ups store or a post office they have scales where you can weigh a package or letters the letter scale is the one you want. What a find your heart had to be pumping out your chest way to go !
