I have had a few fake-out tokens that had me thinking I had a half dime, but yesterday I really got one. It came out of the ground completely encrusted in black, and after an electrolysis treatment, it came clean enough to see. She is in pretty bad shape, but it is the first seated liberty coin that I have found and my new oldest coin 1872. Thanks for looking and good luck out there, you never know what will be in your next plug! HH!

WOW wow WOW wow WOW wow WOW wow WOW wow ~ that is so AWESOME!!! Seated coinage is so RARE to find! CONGRAT'S!!

Real nice find J. :icon_thumright:

Some of the tokens you found could blow that half dime away a hundred times over in terms of value. Nice find on the half dime. Now me wants to see the tokens. :o

I will try to get a pic of a few of my psych-outs! They only had me going for a minute each time, just due to their small size. Its true that tokens can be very valuable, sold one that I found this spring for $90 (equipment money!) Thanks all for the great comments and your posts, we all keep each other motivated to go hunting!

HH!
