today i finally went out to test my new detector. i wanted to try it in a very mineralized place, too many sounds blow your mind. but the deus behaved wonderfully, very quiet, what a surprise i got when i found my first tone😆. one dime from 1867.

It’s worth hundreds of dollars
So yeah, grades as “environmentally damaged” if you were to send it in…
But damn! She’s a beauty!

If you don't already have a "Coin Red Book" - it's great to have a copy.
Only around $15.00 on-line or at your local coin shop.
Beware - countless key date and semi key date coins have been ruined by people cleaning them !

Excellent find! In my opinion it should be worth at least $1,000 to $1,500 bucks in that condition. Wow, congrats!
