Went to my local beach early this morning. But apparently not early enough as I met a detectorist finishing up and just leaving.

Oh well...I'm not one to shy away from competition. So with my trusty Sand Shark [I am Not now nor have I ever been a member of the Tesoro Company - Hobbit :tongue3:] with the Clean Sweep coil I proceeded to pick up the meager leavings.

Persistence paid off in an interesting silver ring engraved with "South Seas Community". Goggling the name got me some information and this is my first spoon ring! Unfortunately it is most likely silver plate...but I still like it!
