I am new to CRH and have looked through about $600 of halves from various banks in my area, some loose, some rolled. Up until this afternoon, I never saw a piece of silver in all of those halves. That changed today!
I was out running an errand and I was not in a place I normally travel. On my way home, I saw a Wells Fargo on the side of the road and I pulled in. After asking if they had any halves, the teller looks to the drive through teller and asks "Do you still have those halves from earlier?" The other teller replied, "Yeah, I do. I have $5.50 worth."
I told her I would take them all and she brought them over. Right on top of the stack was a 1968. This was my first glimpse of silver so I got really excited. I gave her some cash and walked out to my truck. I immediately checked them and was so happy with my first silver find.

5 40%'s and 1 90%. Pretty good haul out of 11 coins, and an exciting first silver find for me!
