Took the Manticore out this morning and hunted a 1911 building site. My very first hit was a wheat cent. Just a foot from the wheat cent was the 1917 S Standing Liberty. It was approximately 7/8” deep and rang up as 91. It’s in really nice condition. It’s a first for me.

The best coin design ever, IMHO. I've been collecting them for about 50 years and always look forward to seeing them posted- your 17-S T2 is in great shape considering most of the ones we see posted have already had the date worn off. Congrats for finding such a beautiful piece of history!
