First Texas MD failed.......going to Alaska.

Hi all....I braved it and went Mding in the CA desert mountains 112 heat!!!!.The First Texas MD I got at a thrift store did not do well. it could not penetrate the highly materialize ground.It was like detecting in an oven :P(Being chased by giant dirt devils I did not do well 2 hours the most.And we have been rock and Rollin with 4-5 quakes small land slides.Weird day. :P

Sorry no pictures..... but, I am heading to Alaska for a few weeks, taking out the big guns..... Hope I can landed a big nugget with big pics.
Happy hunting to all Poor thing..... just couldn't handle it.

that detector is generally considered to be a toy. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll be doing good to get a coin at a few inches with that.

Yep..... I was excited because it picked up my gold ring at 7 inches air tests and I bought it for 10.00.I usually use my higher end machines.Had to give it a run.
