I started reading this post on a long hospital night when my daughter was being born.. I spent all night reading...Needless to say I went to running down to my bank to buy a box of dimes and found my first 1944 mercury dime ( beautiful coin rasied lettering super shiny) a 1,000 in halves later and 500 in dimes with 5 40% later and 4 shiny dimes i hooked... This hobby is to give a my daughter a heads up in life when she turns 18... This forum is awesome and I look forward to posting my finds happy hunting!!!
