I think it is because of the cold ya'lls relics last just a little longer. Nice finds for an hour. It will be spring before long. Nice hunt.

Actually there was very little snow left on the site when I went out yesterday, but as Steve said, last night it snowed and the site is all white again.

That is another translucent, but there wasn't enough sun shine to get the backlight photo.

hey dennis that bead is a fossil shell called a gastropod
most of them were used as bawbles which were fastened to clothing
most of ones we find were fastened through a cut mark made by a flint knife
they are cool
