First time out with the Excalibur ii

Just got an Excalibur II last Saturday, took it to the good people at Kellyco and had it check out, and upgraded Pin point mod and Grey Ghost Headphones. So this Saturday was the first time out, I went to Daytona Beach near a park (this place is a favorite of the locals and is fairly well picked clean) but I just knew I would find that gold ring with all the ice... Got there just after low tide, got down in puddles and started a swinging. Only was able to stay and hour has I had both kids with me and other parenting things to do later, In the end I found a bright and shiny penny and then a few bobby pins and the last fine of the day was a Nickel. I read this forum and I would be willing to bet that most other members find more than that in their cars ashtray. The machine "nulled" on the bobby pins but i just had to see. Can't wait to take it out in the surf, but that's next week.
