Detector(s) used
Tesoro Tiger Shark/Garrett Ace 250
I received both the Tiger Shark and the Ace 250 Friday afternoon/evening. I have been reading the manuals for both, which I DL'd earlier this month. I assembled both and then watched the DVD that came with the Ace 250.

My two youngest girls wanted to go out right then, but it was already getting dark. I promised to take them out this morning. We only had an hour, do to family (in-law) plans for the day. I decided to take the Ace 250 out and we managed to get .36 cents. The breakout was 3 x dimes and 6 x pennies.

It may be nothing for most to get excited about, but we sure had a blast. The ground is cold and hard here in Virginia. I am sure the drought we had this year, didn't help the conditions. We are looking forward to going out again, possibly tomorrow.

Welcome BigHog,
Yep, that's how the addiction starts, a couple of dirty coins and you'll see the world through different eyes. Soon after, every place you drive by you'll be thinking to yourself "that looks like a great place to try". Good luck to ya and happy hunting...nappy

Another welcome from across the pond.

If you & your kids enjoyed it, who cares what you find :)

May you have MANY hour of pleasure!

There’s a vacant field off US 1 in Stafford that might still have some half dollars in it. But that place has grown so much it might not be vacant any more.
My sister planted a bunch out there as a prank on me.
Have fun in your future hunts.

Dale
