First Time Posting -- FINALLY!!!!

[mdguy]

Hello Everyone,

Been viewing this website for almost a year and finally decided to buy a detector. Been out about 12 times now, so I'm still an amateur.

I finally got permission to metal detect on about 6 farms here in Western Maryland. I went out this past Saturday at a small farm for about 2 hours and got lucky.

Found:
1846 Large Cent
1907 Half Dollar
1901o Dollar

I hope this is just the beginning!!!!

I really enjoy reading everyone's post here. I hope someday soon I can find some gold.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT HUNT!!!

I second that!!! My first 12 times out I was still giddy about a couple clad quarters and dimes.
