First TWO boxes of halves...ever! You tell me how I did.

My first TWO boxes of halves ever arrived today. I went and picked them up and could barely wait to drive home. Anyways I was really nervous I was gonna get skunked til I found '67 and a '68 in the same roll! I know it is nothing special but I was excited about it. Last roll of that box had another '67. Next box... skunk. I feel like that isn't a successful first two boxes what do you guys think? Above average? Below average? Right on target? Included is a picture of my coins.

OH YEAH. Almost forgot. I was advised through some reading to keep all halves dated 2002 and higher. Is this true? I included those in the picture as well.

depends on where you are at in my part of woods good box. keep at it.

That's a better box than just about any I have had in the last couple years. I don't do boxes much anymore for that reason. 2002 and newer I toss back. It's up to the individual.

Being on a 14 box skunk streak, you did absolutely great!

--Don't keep those 2002-date halves, unless they are super shiny and for your personal collection, they are worth 50 cents.

Personally, I keep 3-4 of each date and mintmark in absolutely perfect(for circulation strikes).

The only dates I am keeping right now are: 2010 and 2011. Soon to be 2012.
