First wheat of the new year!

Hi everybody! Been out 6 times with the new machine after 2 years of not detecting. Hit an old home site today dating back to 1905, just a plowed field now. Found some goodies here about 5 years ago, Chinese 'ghost' coin, some wheats, 1945 nickel and some relics dating back to early 1900's-late 1890's. I was about to call it a skunk but decided to follow one of the plowed rows on the way back to the truck and got a solid high tone. Dug about 4-5" and found my first wheat of the year. This is my second-oldest wheat, found a 1920 about 5 years ago with my Vaquero. I know it's just a wheaty, but I love digging ANY old coin, especially from the 1920's! Plan to go back out there tomorrow.

Go back there silver might be found.

Not bad at all, I'm sure there's more coins that can be popped out of the field. My first wheatie of 2018 was a 1910 no mint mark.
