I apologize if this has been asked before, but my F5 has 4 bars for battery strength representing 6,7,8, then 9 volts. At what point should i replace the batteries? Right now I have just two bars indicating 7 volts, should I replace the batteries? I don't keep track of the hours, I guess that is what I hope the gauge will tell me. And yet I don't want to replace batteries that have plenty of life left. Any thoughts?

I do not own the F5...so grain of salt.

My wifes Gold Bug will start to flash at 6.8 volts......the Land Ranger Pro will flash at 6.1 volts.

I would say replace the battery as soon as you see one bar...that is usually what I do. I never wait for it to start flashing.
