I know it's been a while since I have posted any finds. Keepers have been scarce for the past month or so.

Left out early this morning and went to Elyria to hunt a school on Middle Ave. There were 4 houses that had to be taken down near the school for it to be expanded back in the late 50's. I figured I'd hit the curb strip where those houses once stood. I only dug 3 wheats and a bunch of clad. I then decided to go back to a site I pulled a 49S Merc from last weekend. First plug I dug there today had 2 silvers, :headbang: the Merc and a Rosie. Ended up pulling 5 silvers in a few hours and 5 wheats from this site. The oldest coin was the 1917 wheat. I think this is the most silvers I dug in 3 hours.

I plan on sharing this site with a couple local guys this coming weekend. One of the guys has yet to pull a silver. He swings an F44 (hardly has a chance to get out due to his wife's illness), and the other guy is retired and swings the AT Pro.

Congrats on a great day Loco!! I thought I done well Saturday with TWO silvers...lol. Found a tarnished, well worn 1916 Merc and a 63 Rosie...great job, keep'em coming! DDf

I'd say that was three hours well spent. Good work!

Very nice Loco! How did Kevin's Brother in Law do? I'm glad to see you're still living large with silver brother.

Nice to see a post from you buddy. Nothing wrong with that pile of silver

I you could average 5 silvers every outing, it would only take 20 hunts to get to 100. So needless to say, 5 in one outing is pretty darn good.

As it is I only have 6 for the year, but a pretty nice variety - Barber Quarter, Barber Dime, Capped Bust Dime, Mercury Dime, Roosevelt Dime, Spanish Cob.

Silver jackpot ! Congrats

Hey Loco,, I'll give a Hundred Dollars for that 49S Mercury that you pulled last weekend. lol
Congratulations on a 5 silver day. That's what I call a Hunt.

Awesome job Loco!

5 Silvers is a GREAT hunt :icon_thumright: I think my most ever in a single hunt is 3... I don't dig much silver so anytime I see the shiny stuff in the dirt it makes me smile... doesnt matter how old. Awesome hunt man.

Inspiring hunt, and what a nice guy to share a promising site with someone else. Hats of to you bud

Wow nice hunt Loco....:icon_thumright:

Congrats! Five silvers in one day is Huge! Great karma also for sharing the site with two others! Please let us know how they do. They won't forget what you have done for them!

Making up for lost time are ya! That's the way to do it! Congrats, awesome silver!
Hope you and your invited guests score some really great surprises!

Don't know how I missed this post but, glad I saw it now. What a Sweet hunt, Congrats!!
A five silver day is an Awesome hunt!! My record day with silvers was a 5 silver day and mine were all Rosies and Mercs too. I'm happy with a lone Rosie unlike Scrappy and finding newer silvers. Lol
After a slow month or so, this hunt had to feel great. And then to turn around and share this site with two other diggers, my hat goes off to you!!
