The club hunted a farm out in triune, Tn today. Got out there and dug these flat buttons. One is detailed and fairly nice, with Waterbury/scovill backmark. No bullets for me today. One member dug a very nice eagle R button that I saw. Photo of the farm and buttons. Also met Coilygirl who is on this forum out there.

JPro it was great to meet you today and that sure was a sweet button you found. The guy who found the R button was still grinning from ear to ear at the end of the hunt. All I found was what looked like a railroad spike on the left and some crude bolt looking object, both pretty deep.I wonder if it could have been used as a tent stake?
