I found this crude little flint celt about a month ago. It's my first celt and I hope to find one made out of hardstone at some point. My phone crapped out a couple days after I found it and I lost all my in situs from this year. Hard lesson learned about the importance of backing up my pics. Anyhoo, enjoy!

If I had found it I might think it was a large end scraper. Nice keeper

That is exactly what I thought I had when I picked it up, but when I got it home and cleaned up I noticed it is only worked to a sharp angle on the bit end. Then I thought maybe an adze until my hunting partner said it was definitely a celt. Either way, I was pretty stoked to find it. Just wish it wasn't so crudely made out of such crappy material.

Here is all the stuff I found around the same time as the celt but don't have in-Situs of because my phone sucks. A bunch of scrapers, alot of heart breakers, a couple whole points, and a Harahey I think?

Nice flint celt. They are my favorite to find.

Not sure on the type of knife but it sure does have some nice bands in it. It always amazes me when sometimes you find ugly stuff then you find the nicest looking ones. 80% of what I find is field grade but that is what makes the nice stuff so much more fun to find when you see it.

I like celts nice one !!
