Cariboo5 just generally speaking . Minus 30 wow Where generally speaking where are you located ?

I guess I should look for my gold and see what I could get for it ! It's out in my work shop somewhere! I KNOW , I KNOW ! Nobody could find it even me and I put it there! :):)
I misplaced my gold coin for a few years. I darned near wetted the eyes when I came across it again.
It was one of those- Now I remember moments.

Smart people will be unfazed by how high metals climb, and they will hold onto any that they have. Currency can become worthless. Precious metals will always hold a value.

Durned, the correct pronunciation is durned.
$7116 here right now on the live gold price.

I've sold 600 40 % Kennedys over the last 3 weeks, but I'm hanging on to all 90 % silver coins, bars, rounds, and gold.
Might not have much of a choice, some shops are having a hard time with cash flow, getting refinery checks, closing shop, and refineries already loaded to the gills. I’ve heard of two refineries no longer accepting any silver of any purity at the moment.

I know of one buyer that has to pause because their refinery paused.
The Mid West buyer is still buying @ 77.65% of spot for sterling.

One buyer looked at me and stated fat pigs get slaughtered. He just finished saying he sometimes drinks $200 bottles of wine.
My thought was well you're a fat pig that has gotten that way from eating too much from the lean weaner pigs.

Basically he wants what I might have but not at a price that he would be offering.

A little bit of reflection on yesterday's price surge midday. I'm working in CAD not the US dollar.

Short Covering and Buying Volume
  • Intraday Surge: Silver experienced its sharpest single-day move since 2008, soaring 14.37% to hit the $160.60 CAD mark by midday.
  • Stop-Loss Triggers: Analysts characterized the peak as a "speculative blow-off" driven by a massive "physical run" and institutional short-covering. Estimates suggest global silver trading volume neared $1 billion on specific platforms like Hyperliquid alone during this period.
  • Total Futures Volume: Daily volume for silver futures reached approximately 79,384 contracts by the end of the session, reflecting the intense liquidation of short positions
