Prospecting
Did some sniping today and got some nice chunky gold. I think that big rain storm we had washed up some new gold. Spotted a few without getting in the creek. :headbang:

Don't stop your on a roll! That is awesome!

Not asking for your spot but where are you finding gold like that. All I get is fly speck. It's the only gold we have here in nm.

Aw, makes since now. I still get quite a bit of fines. Had a friend find oatmeal size flake but that was a perfect spot and a dredge.

Another day of prospecting... Got one nugget that made my day. I wasn't doing too good until I found it. The nugget is one gram I didn't think the other stuff would make the scale move much so I didn't weigh it.

Nice nugget there, even better that you are getting that stuff by sniping. Has the GB2 been going with you? Does the GB2 work well on or near bedrock? With the historical low water recently that seems like it could be useful. Maybe it depends on how hot the bedrock is?

No I sold my gold bug 2 and got a minelab. But the place I'm going to has so much junk in the creek I wouldn't be able to move the coil without it screaming at me so I go there without. Yeah the GB2 works really good on & near bedrock.
