Florida 18K dry sand find.

I found a chunky 18K gold wedding band last night on a two hour search of the dry sand. I had a feeling that gold must be lost in the dry sand opposite a stretch of water that I have found several pieces of gold jewelry at this month. The CTX 3030 fitted with the 6 inch search coil is a really good combination for searching high trash areas of the beach.

Thanks, my scales broke and I need to buy a new set but if I was guessing the weight of the ring it would be around 0.3 to 0.4 ounces.
