Florida beach finds totals

Well this may be it for 2007. I'm sure most of these finds will look very familiar to all of you. Found 16 lb of clad = $180.00 and was given $120.00 for finding lost items. Gold total just over 2 ounces. You can't call it unearned income but its still found money. Best reward were the faces on people when they got their lost wedding rings back. I was able to return 2 rings lost in the dry sand and one chain from the water.

Darn good for 07'. I can say my 07' year stunk. Not just as much as previous years. WTG, congrats. Have a happy holiday.

Hi Guzz1, now during the slow season I hunt once a week, when the beaches load up with people 1-3 times a week, half the time on the dry beach and half in the water.

Thank you Teklord! Now I am looking forward to my retirement rather than dreading it. Even the 16 pounds (gasp) of clad is awsome.

You can find about anything hunting the beaches. Looks like you had a good year.
I put my clad in a big jar, but my wife rolls them up and puts them in the bank before I can add it up. I hide the gold.
