Re: Florida Hunt (contest #1 posted on post 439)

Aloha, just got turned on to this thread/hunt. Did anyone mention that the temps there at this time of year will be in the 40's with a high of around 50? And just to be sure I didn't miss a thread, there is no Water hunting right? Thank you all. It looks like an awesome time, but maybe a cold one. Aloha

Re: Florida Hunt (contest #1 posted on post 439)

hmmm seeing as it was closer to 25 here this morning I am thinking 40-50s will be balmy! lol I actually do think that was mentioned more than once that it would not be sunny summer weather but we refuse to have our dreams crushed! You are also correct in that there is an agreement of no water hunting at Vortex Springs when we are at the hunt. I think several people are planning a trip to the beach and of course, then they can find out the rules in that area for water hunting if they really wanna get wet. lol And just how warm are YOU going to be during this hunt there in Hawaii anyway? Do I even want to know? lol

Re: Florida Hunt (contest #1 posted on post 439)

You will have the advantage for sure Cyn. Cold January day high of 20 to a 40 when you step off the plane. Wow heat wave.
