The weather here last night was a bit unsettled, but only had to go to the basement once, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. LOTS of rain! Everyones pond is now full! Haven't seen that in a couple of years around here.

I agree that it is sad that OU has to play in Florida's back yard, but I think it is fitting as all that really matters is who's where at the final gun. and I hate to tell you but OU will be way back. So far back that they will not even probably need the final 30 minutes.

Now you talk of these top 5 teams, they haven't played any teams in the best conference of college football. The SEC.

Well, I was just gonna' sign off of this thread I was so disappointed I couldn't make the hunt, but then I started reading the OU/Gator stuff and had to stick around. Everyone knows that the poll that determines the national championship is the only one that really counts and OU is #1! And lets look and see how many ranked teams each team played. OU played 5 teams ranked in the top 5 in the nation. How many did the Gators play? And let's look at quarterbacks. Bradford leads in the majority of categories and set all kinds of Big 12 records. That Florida guy, whats' his name is a good quarterback too, but not of the quality of Bradford. Sam's weakness is his couple of inexperienced receivers. Last game they dropped 4 passes that could have been TDs easily. If they are open, Sam will hit 'em and they just have to hang on and score. And c'mon now why does OU always have to play Florida team at home? Why not play them in mid-America instead of being subjected to that "home cooking"? And last of all, I support OU because my son graduated from there and I have several thousand $$$ invested! Monty

Snow in Cajun Country.... I'm trying to hurry cause the lights have been flickering, limbs are breaking so we will be without power soon. They're warning people to stay off the roads. It's quite pretty, it's the aftermath that's gonna be yuck.
