It's in Everglades National Park. >:(
As for the Ashley gang,i've done a little research and believe what little they had left after they met their demise at the Sebastian river bridge in late 1924,was probably used by ma Ashley to build a new house out at Twin Oaks after the police raided and burnt down the original house out there.I think $100k is a far stretch from the actual amounts they had buried here and there. Now a smaller cache or two is quite possible still. ;) Oh yeah, the northern edge of the Everglades in the 1920's was much closer the the ocean as compared to today.(hint) Also, old man Ashley (John's dad) quite possibly has a cache or two buried in the vicinity of his old moonshine still/s out in the glades too. :)
