Fob???

Hello Forum,

I found this item, and immediately it had my heart pumping. I originally thought it might have been a medal. Now after cleaning it up a bit I think it might be a fob. Can anyone help me to identify it? Has anyone found one like this? It appears to have been painted gold at one point, and it looks like there was a letter or logo on the front in the center.

Yes. I'd say it is a fob and there was something else in the middle.

I was disappointed that I couldn't find a date or makers mark on it.

The strap slot, called a bail, is the give away, it's a watch fob. I am surprised that it doesn't have something engraved on it.

Since no engraving is why I suspect that the middle of the fob is missing.

Upon closer examination, it does look like the center had something "welded" to it. Good call XR7.

I thought that the center was a letter / monogram that was painted on. I took a magnifying glass to it as well. Unfortunately there are no marks on it. &#55357;&#56853;
