I bought my first metal detector in 1985 and I have been focusing on relics and early coins since 1989. I prefer to dig colonial relics and coins, but I will dig anything Civil War and earlier. Here are a few of my favorite items and some group shots.
The G. Washington cufflink is my favorite and most valuable find. I dreamed of finding one of the Rattlesnake and Stars buttons for years before I found my first one. After I found my second one two years ago, I got the button tattooed on my arm
The two coin piles as well as the two group shots of coppers are from my two best colonial sites.
