Former NM state historian dispels hanging myths

[jeff of pa]

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -- New Mexico
abounds with macabre tales about "hanging trees"
where Wild West miscreants were strung up
in the days of frontier justice - but as former
state historian Robert Torrez discovered,
there's more myth than truth in many of the stories.

Maybe So! There in New Mexico !
But!
Not more than 4 miles, from where I am presently, sitting !
There is A! HANGING TREE !
(on the banks of the river)
AND!
It is Historically Recorded (the whole "epic" story)
The FIRST Woman "Hung" in TEXAS
Was Hung From it's Branches

So! Much for the "experts"! HUH?

[BLACKFOOT]

In Groveland Calif there was a tree called the hanging tree where the bad people were hung. it died itself for some unkown reason.

"Believe" That "C. Columbus" discovered The New? World !
Heck!
The Chinese were here , along, The Pacific Coast, 4000! Yrs ago
The "Celts" were here, in NM, 4500 yrs ago!
