Found 2 Good Points Today

I have wanted to go to this field for several days. It had between 2 and 3 inches of rain last Friday but I have had a bad cough and have not felt very good for the last 5 days (I did look Monday for a couple of hours in a field closer to home.) I went to the doctor Monday morning and the antibiotic and prednisone finally kicked in and I felt much better today. I looked for 4 hours and was pleased to find these along with some broken points

Wow! Those are beauties! Whereabouts are they from? I don't recognize the materials. Types look mid-Atlantic (my guess)... in the Carolinas?

They are made of coastal plains chert and were found in southwest Georgia.

Coastal plains Chert will show the spotting it is Patina from age.
