Found a cool NRA Marksman medal today

[time4me]

Found this neat medal today, as well as a bunch of bullet shells and other odds and ends. I wish I had found the ring I lost Wednesday when detecting the same area, but I guess it is going to sit out there a while longer and taunt me.

Very cool finds. Did you clean the badge or is that how you found it?

It came out of the ground with some dried dirt caked on it, but some running water and gentle sweeps of a soft toothbrush to get the dirt off, and it came out looking like this.

That's a pretty good haul!

Cool find!
Sorry about that ring. I was sure you'd say you found it on the shelf next to the sink.
Hope it turns up.
