Back at a site I've hunted numerous times yesterday. It's been pretty dry here so I was able to hunt some of the low-lying areas that are usually too wet or overgrown to hunt.

Got a solid squeaky 90's signal on the Deus in all directions, and popped out this beauty about 5 inches down.

It's my 2nd oldest identifiable coin, and couldn't be in much better shape!!

Congratulations! I have been wanting to dig a Reale since I started detecting. I have seen many dug but always come up empty handed.

I have found more Spanish silver than seated silver. It's weird.

Keep trying, if you get on some old ground, one is bound to pop up eventually.

Spanish silver was the "American Dollar" of it's day. It was used around the world, especially in the US, Canada, China and Australia. It was legal and heavily used until it was demonetized in 1857.
