Found a hot spot

We found a little hot spot that let us land about 20 largemouth apiece. All caught and released of course. Had a ball, detectors stayed in the trunk today.

Man.. Summer's over and I've only been fishing three times this year.. not once with my boat. I've almost forgotten what fishing.. "REAL FISHING" is like since I took up metal detecting. Now I go "coin fishing" more than anything else.. well.. when I get the chance that is. Oh well, it's been a really hot summer anyway. Even fishing is a chore when it's almost too hot to breath! Of course, with Fall and cooler weather fast approaching, there'll be some good opportunities to go wet a line yet. If I can tear myself away from the call of the metal detector that is.. "Bleep bleep bleep BleeBleep BleeBleep" <grin>


Good that you got out a while dude, especially spending some time with the next generation. Quality time indeed! Now that's a treasure worth posting anywhere!

Here is a picture of my oldest son and a fish that got him a "Master Angler Award" last summer. Talk about proud. This fish was just a couple ounces from a Missouri State Record.

ok lets see how big this thread can get... Like the prior post i have been detecting so much this summer no time to take the boat out.. nothing wrong with a pond full of bass..

At least my wife will fish... any suggestions on how to get her to detect.. lol
