Denarius, Forget the hotel problem! The location is under water at low tide so they have no say in the matter. It is public domain. You have a real untouched hot spot. I would work it as hard as I could before other TH's get the location. Use a detector, long handled scoop and work the hell out of it.View attachment 639918

Actually, unfortunately, in this location I need to be careful, if only because if others find out what I'm doing the place will be mobbed. Tho it is not impossible, I just need to be discrete.

Use a detector, long handled scoop and work the hell out of it.

I have absolutely no idea what to do other than that bag and scoop suggestion. (which is actually quite good, thanks) Thats why I need links etc.

I've been checking things out and I think I'll get a Vibra-Tec 730. Any comments?

View attachment 650885I have the Vibra-tector which has a very small coil and will go 6". It vibrates when it detects. Mel Fisher used them. Get one and a hand scoop, mask and snorkel. No one will even notice you. A long time ago, I saw a setup that had a floating tube with a snorkel attached and a length of tubing that attached to a face mask. I don't know if they still make them.

That floating tube with a snorkel attached is called a "Dive Hookah".
There is a motor on top that works a special air filtered dive compressor.
I learned that in a dive course that our lungs can only suck air about a foot down at max.

Here's a funny story.
I once knew an idiot (co-worker) who thought if he tied two cinder blocks to his waist and put a garden hose in his mouth that he could breathe underwater. He tried that brilliant idea out when he thought he could patch a hole in the liner of his pool in the 8' deep section. So while showing off his intelligence in front of a few family members while he jumped in the deep end with the cinder blocks attached and one end of garden hose in his mouth. Well needless to say, while he was drowning and frantically trying to suck some air into the hose his family was watching from above and waving back to him at the bottom of the pool! By some miracle his senses came to him and he untied the rope and swam to the surface.
Some idiots have all the luck!
